MetalBase

For sites that generate metal every week

Collection & bin hire

Bins dropped where the metal is, swapped before they overflow, and weighed on a certified bridge you can audit — from a single cage in a workshop to hook lifts across a project.

What you get

How it works in practice

Every arrangement is written down before it starts — what turns up, how often, what it’s worth and what you receive on paper.

A tipper truck discharging a load at a processing facility
The right bin, not the biggest one
Cages, marrels, hook lifts and stillages for turnings and swarf. We size the fleet to your throughput so you are not paying to cart air.
Swaps on a schedule you set
Standing runs are built around your production calendar rather than ours, with ad-hoc swaps available when a job runs hot.
Crane and hiab capability
For loads that cannot be tipped — tanks, transformers, plant and structural sections — we bring the lift to you rather than asking you to find one.
Every movement documented
Each swap generates a weighbridge docket with net weight and grade, rolled into a statement you can reconcile.

From first call to first rebate

Usually two to three weeks, faster if the site is already segregated.

  1. 01

    Site walk

We look at where the metal is actually generated, not where the bin currently sits.

  2. 02

    Written proposal

Bin plan, swap frequency, indicative rates and the reporting you'll receive.

  3. 03

    Equipment on site

Bins and signage delivered, crews inducted, first collection scheduled.

  4. 04

    Reconciliation

Tonnage by grade against the index, rebate paid on a fixed day.
